Bulk Discount Management System#

This document provides a detailed overview of managing bulk discounts for various regions. It guides you through setting target profit margins, calculating discounted prices, and applying these discounts effectively across your store. The process involves reviewing calculations, downloading detailed reports, and making informed decisions to enhance profitability.

Step 1#

Begin by navigating to the Bulk Discount Management page, where you can view tabs to select different regions. Once a region is selected, you can examine the currently active promotions for that particular area.

Step 2#

To effectively manage bulk discounts, set a target profit margin. This margin ensures that all products are uniformly adjusted to calculate the discount price. For instance, you may set a target margin of 10% and proceed to calculate the corresponding discounted price.

Step 3#

After the calculation, the results will appear in the History section. You can check whether the calculated discount is ready to be applied. Before applying, download an Excel file to review the detailed application of the discount.

Step 4#

In the Excel file, you can analyze the original prices and the newly calculated discounted prices needed to achieve the 10% target margin. Additional details include local currency prices, purchase costs, shipping fees, estimated Shopee fees, and packaging costs. You can also verify the overall discount percentage to be applied.

Step 5#

A discount rate of 60% is indicated, with an estimated profit of 2,881 K grahwan and a projected profit margin of 10%. After reviewing the discount structure and potential profits, decide whether to apply the discount by clicking the Apply button.

Step 6#

Prior to applying a new promotion, it is advisable to end any existing ones. This ensures a fresh discount promotion for your Singapore store. The promotion will not activate immediately but will go live after 20 minutes, followed by a confirmation message.

Step 7#

Switch to the Singapore tab and refresh the page to view the upcoming discounted products totaling 337 items. You will notice that the discount is set to apply starting from 7-26. Set up promotions by calculating the target profit margin for each region or use the Apply To Entire Store button for a comprehensive application.

Step 8#

Adjust the target profit margin to apply a new margin rate across all regions. For example, set a 12% target margin and apply it to the entire store, initiating the bulk application process.
